Daniel A. Berenbaum joined Cowen & Co. as a senior analyst covering the semiconductor sector. He was in a similar role at Caris & Co., and previously covered semiconductors for Citigroup, Susquehanna Financial and Darby Capital. He also worked within the industry, spending seven years in various positions at chip equipment maker Applied Materials before coming to Wall Street in 2003.
"Daniel's addition to the firm will extend our areas of coverage into the important semiconductor sectors of communications, consumer and memory," said Barry Tarasoff, Cowen's director of research.
